A bill on changes in the administrative-territorial structure of the controlled part of Donbass, as well as Dnipropetrovsk and Kharkiv regions, has been submitted to the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the official website of the department says.
According to Deputy Anna Skorokhod, the document will allow "to protect our citizens and save budget funds."
The deputy added that the maintenance of the Lugansk and Donetsk regional military-civil administrations (RSA) costs the state more than 50 million hryvnia per month. According to Skorokhod, their functions can be effectively performed by Kharkiv and Dnipropetrovsk region.
