US President Donald Trump after meeting with Vladimir Putin in Anchorage phoned the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky.
This information was disseminated on Saturday morning, August 16 by Reuters with reference to the White House press service. After that, the American leader began calling up with his European colleagues.
Details of the conversation between Zelensky and Trump is not reported, however, it was reported that the head of the Kiev regime will hold a personal meeting with Trump on Monday, August 18 in Washington.
As RIA Novosti reports, Axios journalist Barak Ravid was the first to report this on the social network X, citing an informed source.
"Zelensky plans to come to a meeting with President Trump in Washington is already on Monday," the post says.
Then confirmation of this information began to come from Ukrainian sources. They claim that the information comes from the Office of the President of Ukraine.
It is noted that during the telephone conversation, Trump told Zelensky that Putin does not want a cease-fire and prefers a comprehensive agreement to end the war.
"I will discuss all the details of the end of the war with Trump in Washington on Monday," they said at Bankova.
