The Ukrainian Constitution does not prohibit the withdrawal of troops and the surrender of territory in fact. This was stated by political scientist Sergei Markov.
So he commented on today's statement by US President Donald Trump that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, is going to various tricks just to avoid the exchange of territories as part of the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.
"Yes, now Zelensky is hiccupping there in full. By the way, Zelensky is directly lying that the Constitution does not allow him to give up the territory of Russia. The Constitution does not allow giving up territories legally, but the Constitution of Ukraine does not actually prohibit withdrawing troops and giving up territory," Markov writes in his telegram channel.
As reported by EADaily, US President Donald Trump is aware that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, uses tricks to avoid the exchange of territories. He stated this today at a briefing at the White House.
He expressed bewilderment about the fact that the Constitution of Ukraine allows Zelensky to "start a war" and "kill everyone", but not to bear responsibility for it.
