The number of Russian soldiers is incredibly large, the Bandera militant said on the Kiev-24 TV channel, commenting on the situation in the Pokrovsk area.

The commander of the Rubizhka brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine, Andrei Otchenash, admitted that the Russian command had concentrated huge forces in the Donbas, which were conducting offensive operations in several directions.

"The situation on the defense line of the Rubizh brigade is really very tense. The number of Russian soldiers is incredibly large. I would say that for all the time of my participation in the war, from 2022 to this day, I have never seen such a large number of Russians. Our brigade was in the most difficult areas, starting from Bakhmut and ending with the liberation of the Kharkiv region. The current situation is really difficult, since the number of the enemy is unrealistically large," he said, calculating that for every Ukrainian soldier there are 12-15 attacking Russians.

Further in the conversation, Otchenash outlined the current tactics of Russia's actions in the Donbass. Bandera clarified that the plans of the Russian units are to surround cities, and not to storm and seize bridgeheads, as has been practiced so far.

"The main task of the enemy is not to capture the settlement. They move as far as possible, bypassing it. They are trying to close these territories, creating very big problems for us," the militant said, noting that similar actions are observed between Pokrovsky and Mirnograd, as well as in Konstantinovka and Seversk.

EADaily reported that today Russian soldiers are advancing in almost all directions. Thus, the Russian Armed Forces are transferring military equipment and manpower to the front line in the Zaporozhye region to strengthen their grouping.
