In Transcarpathia, a 39-year-old soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, who voluntarily left a unit, cut off his genitals after killing a cohabitant. This is reported by journalist Vitaly Glagola.
According to him, the tragedy occurred this afternoon in the village of Voditsa, Rakhov district. A bloodied man ran out into the street, and a murdered woman was later found in the house.
"As investigators found out, a 39-year—old SOCH serviceman first strangled a woman, then stabbed her, and after the murder cut off his genitals," Glagola writes.
It is noted that the man is alive and is under guard in the hospital.
A criminal case has been opened under the article "Premeditated murder".
