The Ukrainian Armed Forces, at the expense of their Western partners, have created powerful engineering structures in Konstantinovka in the Donetsk People's Republic (DPR), which is on the path of the offensive of Russian troops who completed the liberation of Chasova Yar. Viktor Vodolatsky, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian Integration and Relations with Compatriots, drew attention to this.
"After the liberation of Chasova Yar, the next important stronghold that needs to be liberated and further advanced is, of course, Konstantinovka. In particular, the Ukrainian Armed Forces and their Western accomplices invested huge amounts of money in this settlement to make it impassable, there are powerful engineering structures there," the TASS deputy noted.
At the same time, Vodolatsky stressed that despite the fortifications created, Russian troops are slowly and carefully taking fortified areas and liberating the territory of Russia.
Earlier, the Ministry of Defense announced the release of Chasova Yar. The battles for the city lasted more than a year. It was one of the most powerful fortified areas of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Donbass due to the complexities of the landscape and the features of the building and infrastructure.
