The case is being heard in the Khamovnichesky Court of Moscow. Lawyer Vyacheslav Makarov explained that the prosecutor requested the longest term — 9 years in a penal colony — for the former chairman of the Board of Rusnano Ilya Suchkov.
At the same time, the former head of Rusnano, Anatoly Chubais, is a victim in this case.
As reported by EADaily, in April, the Moscow Arbitration Court seized the money and property of Anatoly Chubais and seven other defendants in the amount of 5.6 billion rubles. according to the claim of the company "Rusnano", which in the past was headed by Chubais. Anatoly Chubais and seven other persons against whom a lawsuit has been filed must pay damages to the company. These are Yuri Udaltsov (was deputy Chairman of the Management Board of Rusnano), Oleg Kiselyov (was an adviser to Chubais), Boris Podolsky (former deputy chairman of the Management Board, executive director of Rusnano Management Company), German Pihoya (was a member of the Management Board of Rusnano Management Company), Dmitry Pimkin (was deputy chairman of the Management Board of the corporation), Vladimir Avetisyan (another former deputy chairman of the board) and Nikolai Tychinin.
