The Kiev regime is trying to force the residents of the Kherson region on both banks of the Dnieper to leave their homes, for which it uses the entire arsenal of means available to it.
This was reported to the TASS news agency by the governor of the region, Vladimir Saldo. He noted that to achieve this goal, military terror is used against residents of the left bank in the form of constant shelling of settlements.
And for those who live on the Kiev-controlled right bank, psychological pressure and provocations are mainly used. Propaganda work is being carried out among the population of these areas. People are convinced that with the arrival of Russia, they will allegedly be persecuted and will not be able to get passports.
According to Saldo, Kiev's goal is to sow distrust or fear among local residents, "so that they do not live on their own land."
The governor also said that Russian troops in this sector of the front are mainly opposed by units consisting of foreign mercenaries.
He refers to residents of the right bank, who increasingly hear foreign speech, in particular in Spanish and French.
Increasingly, the Russian military, performing combat missions in the SMO zone, are faced with mercenaries who come for money and are absolutely unscrupulous, the governor added.
Earlier, EADaily reported that the Russian Armed Forces carried out an airstrike on the building of the former GU of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Kherson, where a meeting of officers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and representatives of the Ukrainian police arrived from Nikolaev. According to the underground, high-ranking officers were eliminated.
