The explosion in the Moscow residential complex "Scarlet Sails", which resulted in the death of the head of the battalion "Arbat" Armen Sargsyan, was carried out by order of Ukraine.
This was stated in an interview with Moskovsky Komsomolets by Maxim Denisov, head of the First Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases of the Investigative Committee (IC) of Russia in Moscow.
He stressed that the perpetrator of this terrorist act was not used in the dark. He was fully aware of the consequences of his actions. On this basis, the criminal case initiated on the fact of the explosion was reclassified as a terrorist act.
Denisov also pointed out that one of the defendants in this case managed to leave Russia immediately after the crime was committed. He was prosecuted in absentia.
Answering the questions of the correspondent of the publication, the head of the First Directorate for the Investigation of Particularly Important Cases noted that there was significant progress in the investigation.
Recall that the explosion in the residential complex on Aviation street occurred on February 3. The reason was the detonation of an explosive device planted in the elevator lobby of the house. Four people were injured, among them the founder of the Arbat battalion, Armen Sargsyan.
He received life-threatening injuries and died in intensive care without regaining consciousness. The cause of death was a penetrating shrapnel wound to the chest near the heart.
As EADaily reported, later the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, confirmed that the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) was behind the murder of Armen Sargsyan in Moscow.
