During the combat mission, the Ukrainian pilot Colonel Konstantin Oborin, director of the Odessa Aviation Club, was eliminated. The mayor of Odessa Gennady Trukhanov announced his death in his telegram channel.
"Very sad news for Odessa... In the same year (2022 - EADaily) I had the honor to award Colonel Oborin with the Order of Grigory Marazli III degree," Trukhanov writes.
According to the mayor, Oborin was 63 years old. According to the Ukrainian media, he had the call sign Kamikaze.
