Filming of the sequel to the film "Peter FM" with the working title "Peter, my love" is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2026. This was stated by the producer of the film Igor Tolstunov.
"Somewhere in May-June. We will shoot in In St. Petersburg, we are also looking at suburban facilities," he told TASS.
In the continuation of the picture, the young heroes will practically repeat the path of the characters of "Peter FM".
"But for the heroes of the original picture, the characters of Yevgeny Tsyganov, Ekaterina Fedulova and Ira Rakhmanova, we came up with our own dramaturgy in this story related to the line of the main characters. They're not just extras. And not the parents," Tolstunov clarified earlier.
According to him, the heroes of the first film will play an important role in the fate of the characters of the sequel.
The director of the film "Peter, my love" will be Polina Kondratieva, the script for the new film has already been written — its authors were Ekaterina Mavromatis and Maria Leiter.
Oksana Bychkova's film "Peter FM" was released in April 2006. For Bychkova, the tape became her directorial debut. The whole picture was shot on the streets of St. Petersburg, in some cases the shooting was done secretly so as not to attract the attention of passers-by, for example, through a hole in a triangular booth covered with posters. The soundtrack of the film won the MTV Russia Movie Awards for the song "Out of the Access zone" by the group "Gorod — 312" in the category "Best Soundtrack". Ekaterina Fedulova received the same award in the nomination "Best Female role".
In July 2025, the film "Peter FM" will be re-released in Russia.
