The Russian army will not liberate the DPR until the end of the year. This was stated in an interview with Bloomberg by the head of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GUR) of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine Kirill Budanov*.
"It is unrealistic for Russia to seize the entire Donetsk region by the end of the year," Budanov said*.
According to him, the Russian Armed Forces "have a political goal to announce that they have entered" the Dnipropetrovsk region, and they have been instructed to create another buffer zone up to 10 kilometers deep.
