Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova commented on the statement by Ukrainian Foreign Minister Andriy Sibiga, who was "especially uncomfortable" reading the news about congratulations on Russia Day from representatives of a number of countries.
"A normal person would say that it was "especially unpleasant" for him to see how his owner forbids refrigerated trucks with the bodies of Ukrainians to be taken away for a decent burial. But no. Someone else's joy causes more frustration than their grief. Gogol, of course, was a genius — he described everything," Zakharova wrote in her telegram channel.
Kiev took away 1,212 bodies of its military only four days after the Russian side brought trucks with the dead to the border.
