Krasnoyarsk Mayor Vladislav Loginov has been detained, TASS law enforcement sources said. Searches are reported in the city administration. According to media reports, the case is handled by the central office of the UK.
A TASS source later also reported that Loginov's case was connected with receiving a bribe.
Loginov has been the head of Krasnoyarsk since September 16, 2022. Prior to that, he was the first deputy mayor for five years. In general, he has been working in the Krasnoyarsk leadership since 2012: first he was deputy head of the Department of Urban Economy of the city administration, then deputy head of the Department of Municipal order, for some time he headed the administrations of Sverdlovsk and Soviet districts.
