Reuters reports that as a result of the attack of Ukrainian UAVs on Russian air bases, significantly fewer aircraft were destroyed and damaged than Kiev claims. The publication refers to American officials.
The attack on the Russian strategic aviation air bases was the fruit of an operation of the Ukrainian special services called the "Web". Its essence consisted in a massive strike on airfields by kamikaze drones, which were delivered to the regions by trucks.
The propaganda of the Kiev regime claimed that at least 40 Russian aircraft were destroyed in total.
However, the enemy failed to realize the plan. Air bases in the Amur, Ryazan and Ivanovo regions were not affected. In the Irkutsk and Murmansk regions, the Russian Aerospace Forces lost seven Tu-95MS and four long-range Tu-22M3 bombers. Another "Bear" was damaged, but is subject to restoration. Russian media write about this after the publication of satellite images.
