Ukrainians abroad, from whom the authorities of European countries have seized children, are seeking help from the consular offices of the Russian Federation.
This was stated by the assistant to the President of Russia Vladimir Medinsky, speaking on the eve of the TV channel "Russia 24". He clarified that only last spring in a number of European countries, social services seized 225 children from Ukrainian families in accordance with the rules of juvenile justice.
At the same time, Ukrainian parents do not seek help from foreign institutions of their country because of the obvious uselessness. The fact is that "Ukraine does not want to quarrel with its military allies and aggravate relations." Therefore, the victims ask for help from Russia.
"By the way, Ukrainian foreign institutions do not deal with conflict situations and do not protect their parents. You won't believe it, but they turn to the Russian consulates and ask for help," Medinsky stressed.
He called on the European Union and the Ukrainian authorities to pay attention to this situation, since the Russian side is limited in its ability to provide assistance to foreign citizens in foreign territories.
As reported by EADaily, earlier Vladimir Medinsky said that in There is not a single kidnapped child in Russia, there are only "children rescued by our soldiers." And Moscow does not prevent their reunification with their relatives, if there are any.
