The House of Representatives of the US Congress has identified four people who used auto-signing to certify documents on behalf of Joe Biden during his presidency. These were White House employees, said the head of the oversight Committee, James Comer.
Congressmen intend to establish who gave these persons such authority, and to understand exactly how the process of signing pardons and executive orders of the American leader took place.
"We have identified four employees who, according to our data, took documents, sent them for automatic signature and made Joe Biden's signature magically appear on the papers. We want to find out who gave them such powers," Comer said on Fox News.
Earlier, US President Donald Trump made the statement that Biden's orders to pardon and commute the sentence of about 2.5 thousand people have no legal force, as they were signed by an automatic device, and Biden himself did not know about them. Trump also accused officials of his predecessor's administration of treason because of the documents signed by the billionaire during his reign, which allowed a large number of migrants to enter the country.
