The task that Russian President Vladimir Putin is solving at this stage is no longer related only to Ukraine, his goal is to launch a parallel process in relations with the United States that is not related to Ukraine. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
"(The process of) trade and investment. As soon as money and goods flow between the USA and the Russian Federation, the issue of Ukraine will fade into the background, which means it will be easier to get from (US President Donald) Trump is making concessions on this issue, giving the US advantages in the same gas trade with the EU. On the surface, there is a deal on Nord Streams — 2, which will be followed by the joint operation of the Ukrainian GTS," Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, "in the net balance," Trump faces a simple choice: either sign lucrative commercial contracts in Moscow, or continue supplying weapons to Kiev, severing all relations with Russia.
"The choice, as it seems to me, has already been made, and it is obvious," the MP sums up.
