The ambitious utopian plans that the leaders of the European countries are building with regard to Ukraine do not have a single chance of being realized.
This opinion was expressed by the former adviser to the head of the Pentagon, ex-colonel of the US army Douglas McGregor in his interview with the Daniel Davis / Deep Dive YouTube channel.
"The Europeans are trying to ensure that Ukraine has unbreakable ties with such a rapidly dying structure as NATO. They are making plans to send troops there in order to have full control over the Kiev regime. But this will not happen, it is impossible," the expert believes.
He pointed to the fact that Europe is currently experiencing major financial problems and is unable to predict what will happen if the peace process is delayed.
Therefore, European politicians are trying to give Russia ultimatums that have nothing to do with reality, McGregor concluded.
As reported by EADaily, earlier, former American intelligence officer Scott Ritter said that Europe's ability to put pressure on Russia is equal to zero. He stressed that the telephone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump is a confirmation of this.
