Under the guise of "canonical Islam", a foreign identity and culture are being served to Russian Muslims, which should not be allowed in any case, said Deputy Prime Minister of Kabardino-Balkaria Zalim Kashirokov.

According to him, the issue is not in dislike of Eastern culture or Arabs — it simply does not exist — but in replacing the national customs of the peoples inhabiting our country.

"We will never become Arabs, but there is a threat of losing our national identity," Kashirokov said.

The words of the official, Readovka writes about this, intersect with the facts. The head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan reported that male criminals are caught in niqabs who hide their faces in this way.

"Terrorists are actively using some elements of a culture alien to our peoples, which has long been realized in the countries of Central Asia. In Kyrgyzstan, for example, wearing niqabs is punishable by huge fines, by the standards of local salaries, and the police conduct regular raids,"the newspaper notes.
