The Russian Armed Forces are trying to create a bridgehead near Kherson in order to force the Dnieper — Speaker of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The Russian army seeks to land on the Bugaz Islands and Kozulishsky opposite Kherson to cross the Dnieper. This was stated by the speaker of the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshin.

"Russian troops are trying to create a bridgehead near Kherson, the Russians are trying to land on the islands," said Voloshin, quoted by the telegram channel "Military Correspondents of the Russian Spring."

According to him, in the Kherson region, the Russian Armed Forces have also intensified in the south of the Dnieper islands and are trying to occupy a bridgehead near the village of Kizomis.
