A part of Kärnave Street in Vilnius will be named after the Lithuanian mercenary Tadas Tumas, who was liquidated in the special operation zone. The corresponding decision was made by the city commission on historical memory.
The commission noted that in the future they will "perpetuate" the memory of other liquidated Lithuanian mercenaries, Baltnews reports.
Earlier, they wanted to find a "Russian street" for Tumas.
