Russian forces destroyed an assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Sumy region, which was moving towards the border with the Kursk region.

"Another assault group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has moved from Yunakovka towards the border. It was destroyed on the territory of Sumy region," Russian law enforcement agencies told TASS.

EADaily adds that in the Kursk region, the Russian Armed Forces are fighting on the approaches to the settlement of Gornal, as well as at the nearby monastery, where the enemy has taken up all-round defense, using the successful location of the facility. In the Belgorod section of the border early yesterday morning, the Ukrainian Armed Forces threw 5 armored vehicles into battle, although for some time they tried to remain active only by infiltrating small groups of infantry into our territory. The vehicles were destroyed by the joint efforts of the GV "North" units: drone guides and artillery. Civilians are under the blows of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
