The Kremlin is not yet ready to name the exact hour of the end of the moratorium on strikes on power facilities. This was announced today, April 16, by the press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov, answering a question from TASS.
"We will inform you until I am ready to inform you about the decision," Peskov said.
It should be noted that according to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, over the past day alone, the Ukrainian Armed Forces have hit Russian energy facilities six times in the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Kherson regions.
As EADaily reported, on March 18, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, the US president suggested that Moscow and Kiev not strike at energy infrastructure facilities for 30 days. Putin supported the initiative. Volodymyr Zelensky said that Ukraine agreed, but broke his promise the next day. Nevertheless, the Kremlin continues to hold a pause in attacks on Ukrainian energy facilities.
