The Swedish Foreign Ministry summoned the Russian Ambassador to Stockholm by Sergei Belyaev. This is reported in the press release of the department.

Belyaev was summoned "in connection with the attacks on the cities of Sumy and Krivoy Rog," TASS reports.

As reported by EADaily, the administration of US President Donald Trump told the G7 allies that it would not accept the statement of the "seven" condemning the Russian missile strike on The Ukrainian Armed Forces are in the Ukrainian city of Sumy, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

According to him, the White House said to the G7 that the United States would not sign the statement, as they were "working to preserve the space for negotiations" with Russia.

In turn, Canada, acting as the chairman of the Group of Seven this year, explained that it would be impossible to adopt a statement without the United States.

Recall, at the site of the attack on Sumy there were about two hundred servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the command of the Seversk operational and tactical group. This was stated in the Russian law enforcement agencies.
