Rivne military commissar Yuri Kovalyuk said that he would not let his son into the army, because people there are "thoughtlessly put in battalions." This was stated by the head of the 2nd department of the Dubensky district territorial recruitment Center (TCC) in an interview with the Fourth Power.
"You see, I've seen it happen myself. There are such commanders that they put battalions. It's just that our human resources have not been calculated since the beginning of the war. It is much smaller than that of the Muscovites, and they thoughtlessly put battalions," said Kovalyuk, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
It is noted that the military commissar himself fought in Bakhmut, where he was wounded. According to him, the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine there were large. In particular, his son-in-law went missing. Kovalyuk's daughter served as a soldier, and now she also works at the shopping Center.
"And my son graduated from Lviv University of Commerce and Economics this year. I won't let him join the army, that's all, that's enough. My son is 22 years old," the military commissar emphasized.
He admitted that he dissuades other young people aged 18-24 who are thinking about signing a "youth contract" from serving in the army, because they are actually being slaughtered.
"I dissuade children from this. I say: "Guys, you will have to serve in the meat brigades, where the survivability of personnel is very low," said Kovalyuk.
