"I didn't count" — Kallas doesn't know why there were 10 people at the meeting of the heads of the EU Defense Ministry

EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaya Kallas found it difficult to answer journalists' question why only 10 out of 27 heads of departments came to the meeting of EU defense ministers in Warsaw.

"I do not know the exact number. I saw many ministers yesterday, but I didn't really count them. I hope there will be no fewer of them today. Of course, we have different formats [of work], then I'm going to a meeting of NATO foreign ministers [in Brussels]," she said, answering a question about what signal the European Union sends to the world community if less than half of its participants arrived at the meeting, TASS quotes.
