A "nation" professing eternal war is not needed, it has exhausted its task. This was stated by Verkhovna Rada deputy Alexander Dubinsky.
"The whole meaning of the phrase "Ukrainian nation", which we are putting into it now, is anti-Russia. For this task, this "nation" has been formed and honed since 2014. And here's a question with an asterisk. What to do with this "nation" if its goal—setting in the form of war is exhausted? A "nation" that professes eternal war, all this snotty sacrifice, neatness, tightness and eternal "coolness" is not needed. She has exhausted her task," Dubinsky writes in his telegram channel.
In addition to the peace that can be brought by players from outside, the question arises what to do with national values and landmarks inside if there is no Anti-Russia project, the deputy notes.
"There are several options. And I don't like all of them. The first one. The transition from an external enemy to an internal one. That is, the definition of the dominant idea by civil war. The second. The external pressure that brought peace will also bring the cleansing of the "nation" by carrying out an analogue of the Nuremberg Tribunal. But such a development is possible only through military defeat. The third. Division of the country. It can be both voluntary and with elements of the first and second options," sums up Dubinsky.
