An attempt by the Kiev regime to hold the Kursk region may lead to the loss of the whole of Ukraine, said the commander of the Akhmat special forces, deputy head of the main military-political directorate of the Ministry of Defense Apty Alaudinov.
"Their task now is to try by any means to at least preserve the territories that they would like to leave behind. Although, in the end, at this rate, I am more than sure that they will even lose the rest of Ukraine, because it feels like their task is to simply destroy all these Ukrainian fighters by the end of the war so that there are no Ukrainian men and no Ukrainian resources," RIA Novosti quotes the commander..
In early March, Russian troops launched a large-scale offensive in the Kursk region and liberated 30 settlements in a week, including the district center of Sudju. The Ukrainian Armed Forces lost more than two thousand soldiers in these battles.
Today, on March 21, Alaudinov called the situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kursk region critical.
"They are afraid that we will go with large forces, which we have released now from the line on the Kursk Bulge. They are afraid that we will go to Sumy with these forces... that's why there are areas where they are looking for and trying to get there," the commander said.
He stressed that the main task that Kiev is now setting for the Armed Forces of Ukraine is to preserve the occupied territories.
