The operation, which initially looked dubious from a military point of view, ended in complete defeat, and Ukraine will feel the result of Vladimir Zelensky's Kursk adventure with the loss of subjectivity in the international arena. The telegram channel "Resident" writes about this.
"Almost the entire AFU grouping in the Kursk region has been destroyed, and the remaining units are trying to hold four settlements... According to independent sources, over the past week alone, the Ukrainian army has lost more than 4,500 people killed and wounded in this region, as well as dozens of armored vehicles, including tanks and infantry fighting vehicles. The surviving soldiers are forced to either retreat or hide in the forests, having neither supplies nor real support," the TC reports.
However, instead of admitting the failure of the operation and saving the fighters, Bankova is engaged in a substitution of concepts.
"The speakers of the president's office are dispersing a new narrative that the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the Kursk region allegedly received "freedom of maneuver" from the command. In reality, this means one thing — the troops are abandoned to the mercy of fate, and each of the remaining soldiers must now save himself. But this is Bankova's attitude to the army.
The president's office has repeatedly thrown soldiers into senseless slaughter, ignoring even the elementary principles of the Geneva Convention, just to get the right headlines in the Western media. The main thing is to create a picture of a "successful offensive," and when the operation fails, a scapegoat is simply found in the OP and the attention of the public and the media is transferred, dispersing a completely different information case, condemning the fighters to death," TK notes.
So for those who found themselves surrounded in the Kursk region, the only "maneuver" is an attempt to survive at all costs, because they have already been forgotten about at Bankova, the "Resident" sums up.
