Ukraine has charged People's Artist of Russia Grigory Leps in absentia under two articles of the criminal Code. This is reported by the Ukrainian Security Service in the telegram channel.
"The SBU has collected an evidence base and reported the suspicion to the Russian singer Grigory Leps," the report says.
As a justification for the accusation, Leps' support for Russia's special military operation on Ukraine, the financing of the Russian army, as well as his statement of readiness to pay 1 million rubles for each destroyed tank of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, the report indicates, he repeatedly transferred humanitarian aid in the form of bulletproof vests, sets of underwear and food products to Russian fighters.
As reported by EADaily, earlier the SBU charged Honored Artist of Russia Yaroslav Dronov (SHAMAN). And People's Artist of Russia Dmitry Pevtsov was sentenced to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.
