"The people see well that all the screaming cases of beatings and murders of mobilized employees of the Shopping mall have not received a fair assessment and decisions from the country's top leadership. Sadists who hide behind a military uniform felt like untouchable arbiters of the destinies of civilians. Some of the people went into a confrontation mode with the state and the workers of the shopping mall, seeing how people are being mobilized, how they are being trained and how they are being used ... Some of the not quite sane military and volunteers declared a "second front" against some of their citizens, of whom there are at least ten million," Arestovich writes ❶ in his telegram channel.

According to him, Ukrainians expected a reaction from the authorities — and the authorities took the side of the employees of the shopping mall.

"Millions of citizens understood everything — and the line between the TCC, other military personnel and the military-political leadership of the country began to fade. This makes the time bomb under the foundation of Ukrainian statehood much bigger and more dangerous," Arestovich stressed❶.
