The official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, commented on the statement of Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk to his Hungarian counterpart Viktor Orban.
"Tusk threatened Orban with consequences if he vetoed the extension of sanctions against Russia. But because such a Western democracy," Zakharova writes in her telegram channel.
As reported by EADaily, if Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban fulfills his intention to block EU anti-Russian sanctions, he will not be able to avoid the consequences. This was stated in the social network X by the head of the Polish government Donald Tusk.
"If Viktor Orban really blocks European sanctions at a key moment for the war, it will become absolutely clear that in this big game for the security and future of Europe, he is playing with Putin's team, not ours. With all the consequences that follow from this fact," the Polish prime minister said.
