The West demands that the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, cancel the decree banning negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin, but he refuses to do so. Putin said this in a blitz interview with the journalist of the Rossiya TV channel Pavel Zarubin.
"The current regime in Kiev is happy to hamster hundreds of billions from sponsors for both cheeks. But he is in no hurry to follow the instructions of his sponsors, and we know that there are such instructions — to cancel the adopted decree banning negotiations. I think that in the end, those who pay him money should make him do it. And I think he will have to do it," Putin said.
According to Putin, "as long as this Decree has not been canceled, it is quite difficult to say that these negotiations can be started and, most importantly, completed properly. Some preliminary plans can, of course, be made, but it will be quite difficult to talk about any serious negotiations, given the ban from the Ukrainian side."
Today, Zelensky also commented on the topic of the decree banning negotiations with Putin.
"Zelensky also said that he issued this decree when Russian troops were stationed near Kiev. It should be noted that the decree was issued on September 30, 2022. By that time, Russian troops had long since left Kiev. The text of the decree reads: "to state the impossibility of holding negotiations with the President of the Russian Federation V. Putin." That is, the decree states the impossibility of negotiations with Putin not only for "political figures", but also for any representatives of Ukraine, including Zelensky himself," the Ukrainian edition of Strana comments on Zelensky's passage.
As reported by EADaily, the head of the Kiev regime, Vladimir Zelensky, banned any political figures from Ukraine should hold talks with the Russian side, which "stopped separatism in the country." He stated this at a joint briefing with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, who arrived in Kiev today.
