All decisions are not to get into the Grozny, do not fly to Makhachkala, follow back to Baku, and as a result, go to Aktau — the crew of the Embraer 190 aircraft of Azerbaijan Airlines, which crashed in Kazakhstan on December 25, took on their own. This is reported by the telegram channel "Base" with reference to the full transcript of the negotiations of the pilots of the crashed aircraft with the dispatchers.
According to the "Base", the dispatchers first offered to land in Grozny, then in Makhachkala, other Russian airports, but the crew refused.
"Moreover, it becomes clear from the recordings that the version about the collision with birds, as well as about the exploded gas cylinder on board, was voiced by the crew of the aircraft in negotiations with the dispatchers. It also follows from the records that there was an external impact on the aircraft, although the pilot did not declare an emergency on board," writes TK.
As EADaily reported, on December 25, an Embraer 190 passenger plane of Azerbaijan Airlines, en route from Baku — Grozny, crashed near the Kazakh city of Aktau. There were 67 people on board, 38 died, and 29 survived.
