A shocking video of the public execution of the former mayor of Dummar district in the northwest of Damascus, Mazen Kenina, who was accused by Hayat Tahrir al-Sham of collaborating with the regime of Bashar al-Assad and extraditing militant supporters, appeared on the Network.
The video, in particular, was published by politician and public figure Oleg Tsarev.
"In the horrifying footage, the crowd arranges lynching: a man was tied to a tree, beaten, and then staged a public execution. The worst thing is that children have joined the bullying," Tsarev writes in his telegram channel.
According to him, extrajudicial killings have already become a sign of the new Syrian order. At the same time, the European Union defiantly "does not notice" this.
"In fact, with all its disadvantages and stagnation, the Assad regime was much more secular," the politician sums up.
