Currently, the operation of turbine generator No. 5 has already been stopped, and the power of the power unit has decreased by 50%. "Turbogenerator No. 5 was turned off at the Smolensk NPP in preparation for the scheduled maintenance of power unit No. 3. The power of the power unit has been reduced by 50%. According to the annual schedule of the repair campaign, power unit No. 3 will be stopped on January 11, 2025," this is how the information from the station managers sounds.
