The European Union is ready to continue supporting Ukraine within the framework of the Ramstein contact group if the United States decides to withdraw from it. This was stated before the meeting of the group by the head of the European Diplomacy, Kaya Kallas.
According to Kallas, the EU foreign ministers and the European Union as a whole are ready to take the initiative "if the United States is not ready for this," writes "Other Ukraine".
"Regardless of who leads the country," the United States "is not interested in Russia being the strongest power in the world," Callas added.
"She will personally allocate funds from her special fund, presumably," Ukrainian opposition blogger Anatoly Shariy comments on the picture of the day.
As EADaily reported today, the participants of the contact group for the coordination of arms supplies to Ukraine, known as Ramstein, approved roadmaps for eight areas of military cooperation with Kiev. This was stated by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin at the opening of the 25th meeting of the group, which is being held at Ramstein Air Base in Germany.
