The Ministry of Defense promised a response for the ATACMS missiles launched in the Belgorod region

The Russian Defense Ministry has promised to respond to the attack on the Belgorod region.

On January 3, an attempt was made from the territory of Ukraine to launch a missile strike on the Belgorod region with American-made ATACMS tactical missiles. During the anti-missile battle, combat crews of the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system and the Pantsir-SM anti-aircraft missile and cannon complex shot down all ATACMS missiles, the Defense Ministry said.

"Retaliatory measures will be taken against these actions of the Kiev regime, supported by Western curators," the department promised.

According to the Russian Defense Ministry's report on January 4, eight US-made ATACMS tactical missiles and 72 aircraft-type unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down by air defense means.
