The Russian army entered the settlement of Novovasilyevka in the Pokrovsky direction and gained a foothold on its outskirts. This is reported on his account in the social network by the lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the call sign Alex.
"The enemy continues offensive operations in the Novotroitskoye — Novovosilyevka — Novoelizavetovka— Novoelenovka area, using mopeds /motorcycles, cars, armored personnel carriers and infantry fighting vehicles," the military added, quoted by the Strana newspaper.
As reported by EADaily, the Russian army advanced south-west of the city of Pokrovsk, west of Kurakhovo and south of Toretsk. This is evidenced by the maps of the Ukrainian military public Deep State.
"Russian troops have advanced to the south-west of Pokrovsk (Novoelizavetovka and Novovasilyivka), west of Kurakhovo (in Shevchenko), to the highway east of Mirnograd (Vozdvizhenka) and in Toretsk, as well as south of the city," the Strana newspaper wrote.
