The flag of the United States in the hands of supporters of ex-President Salome Zurabishvili at the time of her departure from the Orbeliani palace means the failure of the CIA in Georgia. This was stated in the social network X by the head of the French party "Patriots" Florian Philippot.
"Look at the American flag waved by her few supporters… This is a failure of the CIA. EU agent and NATO could not stay in the palace," writes Filippo, quoted by <url>.
Salome Zurabishvili, despite statements about the non-recognition of the election results, had to leave the residence after the inauguration of the successor, the politician noted.
As reported by EADaily, Mikhail Kavelashvili swore on the Bible and The Constitution of Georgia in a solemn atmosphere and officially became the president of the country. This was reported by TASS on December 29.
After the inauguration, his predecessor Salome Zurabishvili left the presidential residence.
