The Kiev regime, unable to defeat Russia on the battlefield, is looking for other ways to harm our country. In this regard, Ukraine has opened a "second front" in Africa.
This was stated in an interview with TASS by the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Mali and Niger Igor Gromyko. He stressed that Moscow understands the motives that prompted the authorities of a number of African countries to break off relations with Kiev.
"The criminal regime of Vladimir Zelensky has decided to open a "second front" in Africa and condones illegal armed groups against the states of the continent friendly to Moscow," the ambassador stated.
He recalled that earlier the authorities of the Republic of Mali severed diplomatic relations with Ukraine. Bamako warned the countries helping Kiev that their support would be considered as assistance to international terrorism.
After that, several other African countries condemned Ukraine's actions: Burkina Faso criticized Kiev, Senegal summoned the Ukrainian ambassador to the Foreign Ministry, and Niger also severed diplomatic relations.
