"Do you see who we are dealing with? Today, a "comrade from the Kremlin" said that Russia offers a technological duel. He says: "We will strike somewhere in Kiev with a Hazel Nut, and let them put up air defenses. Well, we'll see what happens.“ And do you think that this is an adequate person? Just scumbags," said Zelensky, quoted by the telegram channel "Pool No. 3".

As EADaily reported, the Oreshnik missile system is a new weapon, it was created on the basis of Russian developments, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on a direct line today. He said that the range of the "Hazel" is up to 5.5 thousand km. He called the American missile defense system costly and ineffective.

Putin noted that he does not see a problem if the United States puts its newest THAAD air defense system on Ukraine. He even offered to try whose technology would be better.

"Let the West and Ukraine define the area in In Kiev, they will concentrate all their air defense systems there, we will hit them with a Hazel Nut, and they will try to intercept it, and we'll see what happens," the Russian president said.
