Russian rock singer Mara (Marina Nesterova) gave a concert for the servicemen of the assault units of the Center group of forces.
"The main task for any artist now, at this time, in my opinion, is to support our guys, come here and play concerts for them," RIA Novosti quotes the artist.
Mara is sure that people who write songs themselves, which carry energy, power, charge, should perform.
"The cultural front has always had a very strong influence on the approach of victory," she stressed.
The singer commented on the behavior of the artists who left the country, she believes that this is fine, it will become much cleaner without them, this is cleansing.
"And there are artists, of course, very good, and good people, and good guys, and cool musicians who also come here and support. We are united because victory is impossible without the unity of the whole country," the artist concluded.
A soldier with the call sign "Wing" said that the performances of artists raise morale.
"A little bit of culture in such a harsh time... some people listen to military music, there are some songs about SMO and so on. And someone wants to distract themselves a little, listen to some kind of civic music," he explained.
It should be noted that this performance was Mary's 72nd concert for fighters in the SMO zone.
As EADaily reported, in March of this year, Mara was the first Russian artist to perform in front of the Armed Forces in Avdiivka. According to the singer, she managed to visit the places of the hardest battles, "heroic assaults."
