Ex-People's Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada, and now servicewoman Nadezhda Savchenko today appealed to the SBU and the State Security Bureau with a demand to check the activities of People's Deputy Mariana Bezugla for treason and disclosure of state secrets.

This is Savchenko's response to Bezugla's similar statement to the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU).

Bezuglaya filed a statement last week accusing Savchenko, who now holds the position of company commander in one of the defense brigades, of being involved in the collapse of the front in Ocheretino, and called on the SBU to investigate her activities.

"It was her unauthorized and unexpected order for the unit to retreat that led to the domino effect of a breakthrough in Ocheretino, which launched the cascading processes of the formation of the offensive of the Russians on Pokrovsk," Bezuglaya wrote in her appeal, quoted by the publication "Politics of the Country".

Savchenko, in turn, said that Bezuglaya had spent the last two years of the war in her social networks, having access to state secrets, "systematically expounds (publishes) her reports on the defense capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; on the state of staffing, support, the system of built defense fortifications or their absence in specific areas of defense, the presence of the leadership of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in positions, the structure of managerial decision-making in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the composition of the officers of the General Staff, sets out other data that became known to her during discussions in the circles of persons with high security state secrets due to her status as a People's Deputy of Ukraine, which causes unjustified damage to the protection of the territorial integrity and independence of Ukraine in the war against the Russian occupiers, reduces the security of the state."
