Alexander Lukashenko is trusted by the absolute majority of Belarusians. Such data of sociological research were given by the director of the analytical center EcooM Sergey Musienko.
It is reported that respondents were asked to answer the question "To what extent do you trust the President of the Republic of Belarus?" As a result, "I trust" was answered by 80.4% of respondents, "I rather don't trust / don't trust" — 13.6%, "I find it difficult to answer / no answer" — 6% of respondents.
"This is a very high degree of trust. And it is conditioned by specific cases, by the events that are taking place inside the country, by the reaction to external challenges and threats. In general, trust in politics, and in everyday life, is a very fine line. But Alexander Grigorievich has earned this trust entirely through his work for 30 years as president," Musienko said.
It should be recalled that the sociological study "Factors of Sustainable Development" was conducted by the ESOM analytical center from October 1 to October 21, 2024. The sample of 1,580 respondents is representative by gender, age, level of education, type of settlement and region of residence of the respondents. The statistical sampling error does not exceed 2.5%.
