Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov met with Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana. This is reported by Sputnik.
"We discussed, first of all, preparations for President Putin's state visit to Astana on November 27, on the eve of the CSTO summit, which will also be held in the Kazakh capital," the Russian Foreign minister said.
He noted that several dozen documents have been prepared for the visit of the Russian leader to Kazakhstan, including a joint statement by the presidents.
Lavrov also met with students of the Diplomatic Institute of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan.
The Russian Foreign Minister gave a lecture to the participants of the meeting and spoke informally with them, answering the questions asked.
