State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin announced the development and voting for a new tightening of the already, as he noted, "draconian" legislation on foreign agents and relocants. This time the emphasis will be on depriving everyone "who destroys Russia and insults SMO participants" of earnings.
"Those who destroy Russia by insulting its citizens... and participants in a special military operation should not enrich themselves at the expense of our country," the parliamentarian wrote in his telegram channel.
Volodin said that a bill is being developed that will oblige Russians included in the register of foreign agents to have a ruble special account, which they will be required to indicate as the only one for all income from intellectual activity in the Russia. It will be prohibited by law to receive income for this activity in any other way.
The speaker of the State Duma clarified that intellectual activity"the bill includes works of science (inventions) and literature (for example, books); musical creative activity (concerts); messages on television and radio (conditionally: journalistic activity); sale of trademarks and brands (commercial activity).
Volodin also stressed that for Russian relocators who continue to "speak negatively" about the actions of the Russian authorities, but at the same time have not been declared a foreign agent and continue to receive income from movable and immovable property in Russia, too, is "working out measures" to deprive them of the possibility of "enrichment."
