In Poland, attention was drawn to the fact that the Internet account of the Russian intelligence officer Pavel Rubtsov (aka Pablo Gonzalez), who returned to Russia after the largest since the Cold War "spy exchange" between the West and Russia.
Recall, Rubtsov, along with other prisoners, was met by Russian President Vladimir Putin immediately after getting off the plane. Rubtsov's microblog in the social network "X" was silent for a long time, but a few days ago it became active again.
"Basically, these are articles in which the hero is Gonzalez/Rubtsov. These are both publications that are the result of a journalistic investigation based on the collected documents, and voices in support of a person who is considered a journalist in some circles," the Polish portal Nezalezhny notes.
Polish Russophobes are outraged by the fact that there are a lot of positive responses from EU citizens in the comments under the articles. On this occasion, a well-known Polish journalist working in In Brussels, through NATO, Dominika Kosic will become hysterical like this (in his inflamed mind, Rubtsov has already grown to a colonel):
"He [Rubtsov] came back a martyr, and he is being defended by communist newspapers and empathetic ladies. I laugh, but it's really scary that there are people from NATO and EU countries who are defending the GRU colonel. After all we've learned. The fifth column."
Earlier, EADaily reported that all journalists with whom the "Russian agent Rubtsov" communicated were demanded to resign in Poland.
