The court seized bank accounts, real estate and other assets worth more than 300 million rubles. (more than $ 3 million) belonging to the former head of the main personnel directorate of the Russian Defense Ministry, Lieutenant General Yuri Kuznetsov and his relatives, law enforcement sources told TASS.
Prior to that, the Investigative Committee reported that during searches at Kuznetsov's places of actual residence and registration, 100 million rubles in cash in domestic and foreign currency, gold coins, collectible watches and luxury items were seized.

"Interim measures have been imposed on all assets of Kuznetsov, his relatives and legal entities affiliated with the general for the duration of the preliminary investigation. Initially, the investigation estimated all the seized property in the case of the accused for a total amount of more than 300 million rubles. As previously reported, Kuznetsov was detained in May 2024. According to investigators, he received a land plot and a house in Krasnodar from a local businessman Leva Martirosyan in exchange for a contract for the provision of hotel services to the Krasnodar Higher Military School (KVVU) in the amount of more than 372 million rubles. Martirosyan was also sent to jail, and his property worth more than 50 million rubles was arrested.
The court imposed interim measures on a total of 29 accounts in three Russian banks and 6 real estate objects of Lieutenant-General Kuznetsov and his relatives. The list of property arrested in the case of the general and his relatives also includes a land plot in Krasnogorsk, the village of Obushkovo in the Istra district of the Moscow region, a house in the latter, land in Krasnodar, a three-storey house with an area of more than 1.1 thousand square meters on it, as well as an apartment on Yartsevskaya street in Moscow.
